ARC WELDING

A type of welding process using an electric arc to create heat to melt and join metals.

ARGON WELDING

Argon is nontoxic and nonflammable, meaning it can handle those extremes. Pure argon is utilized to weld aluminum and magnesium alloys.

BENDING

To assemble a bend on a workpiece. A bend is manufactured by using a bending tool during a linear or rotating move.

CUTTING

Hacksaw is the common tool which is used in the fitting shop to cut the job in required or desired length.

GRINDING

Grinding is a type of abrasive machining process which uses a grinding wheel as cutting tool.

LASER CUTTING

Laser cutting is a technology that uses a laser to vaporize materials, resulting in a cut edge.

LATHE MACHINING

Machining is any process in which a cutting tool is used to remove small chips of material from the workpiece.

MIG WELDING

Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding is an arc welding process that uses a continuous solid wire electrode heated and fed into the weld pool from a welding gun.

MILLING

Milling is the process of machining using rotary cutters to remove material by advancing a cutter into a workpiece.

POLISHING

Polishing is the process of creating a smooth and shiny surface by rubbing it or by applying a chemical treatment, leaving a clean surface with a significant specular reflection.

ROLLING

The sheet metal rolling process consists of passing metal stock through one or more pairs of rolls to reduce the thickness and to make the thickness uniform.

SHEARING

Shearing is used to cut a sheet parallel to an existing edge which is held square, but angled cuts can be made as well.
